The snow is great at Nubs Nob, and Alke Paradise is a nearby lake that you could check out. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Horseshoe Bay Trail is nice fun; do have a look at Dow Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Camping at Mackinaw Koa Kampground is always a perfect experience. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at French Farm Lake; through the month of September you get the most rain around here,       and the driest of the months is February. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Mackinaw City, Mi is a magnificent choice, and Wilderness Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at French Farm Lake. Camping is available at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping, and you have to check out Johnson Point when you're here. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Boyne Highlands is near French Farm Lake, and a                  wonderful close by hotel is Best Western Thunderbird Inn.
