Near Fremont Lake you discover the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Ramshom Country Club. Just can't get enough of Fremont Lake. The Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail is       a great hiking trail near Fremont Lake; if you came to camp Chinook Camping is a good spot to do that. If you're going to Fremont Lake from Muskegon-Norton Shores, you won't be the only one, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Coopersville. Throughout the summer months highs here at Fremont Lake reach the 80's; the night is slightly chillier of course, usually in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in                  the 10's overnight here at Fremont Lake.
