     Blind Sucker Campground is a great campground nearby, and not far from Frank Lake you'll stumble on Perch Lake which is a pretty lake. Frank Lake gets a typical amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly September, that's the one that rains the most while February is ordinarily the driest month. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Frank Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows  
   at Frank Lake through the winter generally dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Frank Lake, for example Marsh Lakes.
If you came for an overnight stay Big Lake Campground is a good location to camp, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Newberry is a delightful choice.

Most sites are grassy and have a mix of sun and shade and are mostly level with some having pads for the large RV's; there are pull throughs too.  We welcome big rigs, tents and anything inbetween!  We have some excellent spots to situate a group camping atmosphere or family reunion.  If you are a bird watcher, we are 3 miles south of Seney National Wildlife Refuge and offer canoe/kayak rentals through the refuge. Pets are welcomed with courtesy rules enforced.  Reservations are welcomed...
