Indianhead is a good location to do that. From a precipitation point of view Foxpaw Lake is a reasonably common spot; through June this area sees the most rain; the driest month is February. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Foxpaw Lake, too good to be true. If you need a place to stay Americinn       - Minocqua, Wi is a brilliant choice; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Alligator Eye Trail. Moraine Creek is a brilliant local stream; beautiful scenery and great skiing is what you acquire at Big Powderhorn Mountain. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Gogebic Range. Twin Pups Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop at. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Foxpaw Lake has to offer, you can camp at Henry Lake Campground.                  Just can't get enough of the Gogebic Range. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Planter Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Foxpaw Lake, you could also stop at delightful Osprey Lake, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Presque Isle. For the duration of the summer here at Foxpaw Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's.
