    If you are in this part of Michigan make sure to pay a visit to Fourmile Pond. The Devils Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not take a look at Fourmile Dam if you're here. So much entertaining stuff close to Fourmile Pond, simply extraordinary. Stay the night at Campers Cove RV and Campground, and not far from Fourmile Pond you'll discover Lake Winyah which is a wonderful lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Alpena  
   here, and there are other locations here than Fourmile Pond, for example Muskrat Farm Lake.
Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Of Alpena, and playing golf is lots of fun at Alpena Golf Club. All through the months of summer highs here at Fourmile Pond get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Fourmile Pond plunge into the
 
               0's. It's a perfect idea to check out Fall Creek, it's in the vicinity of Fourmile Pond; after a long day outdoors Alpena-Days Inn is a nice site to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. From a rainfall point of view Fourmile Pond is a rather typical location; August is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Fourmile Pond; Norway Ridge Trail is a great local trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fourmile Pond has to offer, you can camp at Thunder Bay RV Park and Campground.

stopped off here in june or july '06 on our way to the u.p. but just wanted to say it was beautiful here from the animals, to thunder bay I went and canoed it 'bout midnight to 2 in the morn. with my travel party. the bay itself was fantastic shallow as can be. every one there was friendly. going back in spring of '07 with the rest of my family...Love to camp at Ossineke! Definitely rustic. Count on usually friendly neighbors (including the squirrels and chipmunks). Beautiful area!...
