Camping is available at Crooked River RV Park; nice skiing awaits you at Boyne Highlands. If you need a place to stay Boyne Highlands Resort is a great choice. Pleasant View Swamp is a swamp near Four Lakes, and Boyne Highlands Golf Course is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Nubs Nob; a magnificent place to camp here at Four Lakes is K O A       Kampgrounds. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Bear River is a fine whitewater spot near Four Lakes, and if you're stopping by from Sault Ste. Marie, you won't be the only one. From a rain point of view Four Lakes is a rather normal place; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Four Lakes. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter                  highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Four Lakes temperatures dip to the 10's.
