Log Cabin Resort and Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Newberry. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby North Manistique Lake, and there's some flowing water close by, Fork Creek is a stream you can check out during your stay. | | driest of the months is February. Fork Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Michigan Vacation Village is a good place to camp nearby. Summertime highs at Fork Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Fork Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Not far from Fork Lake, you'll find Manistique Lake which is a charming lake, and if you need a place to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a great choice. | |
