The warmest time of the year at Forest Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 10's while Forest Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Ontonagon River - Middle Branch is a pleasant whitewater spot next to Forest Lake; Brule Mountain is a great local ski area.
