High temperatures at Ford Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Ford Lake plunge into the 10's. There is a good hiking trail right next door to Ford Lake called the Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail, and       if you need a location to stay Rodeway Inn Coopersville is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Peck Lake, and why not camp at Chinook Camping if you're here at Ford Lake. If you're a golfer then a magnificent nearby course is Ramshom Country Club, and Mud Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. The amount of rainfall that falls at Ford Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout August while                  February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Going for a hike on the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail is always a great adventure, and camping is available at Lake Park Campground. This place, Ford Lake, it completely has so much outdoors cool stuff.
