There is a magnificent hiking trail next to Flowage Lake called the East Fireline Trail, and you obtain a great sight of Cook Hills from here. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn West Branch, and an afternoon playing golf at Apple Valley Golf Course is always a joy. Brewery Creek is a magnificent site to stop at; camping is available at West Branch Travel Park. You just can't imagine the amount       of outdoors exciting things the area next to Flowage Lake has to offer. On a brilliant day at Flowage Lake you can take a hike along the Sterling Truck Trail, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Lame Duck Truck Trail. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - West Branch is a nice place to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Welcome Motel if you're here at Flowage Lake.
