After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn JACKSON NORTHWEST is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and a pretty lake like Ferguson Lake is a good spot to have a look at. Flinton Lake gets a typical amount of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February on the other       hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Shady Acres Campgrounds is always a pleasant experience, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Ella Sharp Park Golf Course is in close proximity. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable things to do near Flinton Lake. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Flinton Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs                  in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Flinton Lake temperatures fall to the 10's.
