A normal amount of rain falls here at Fisher Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. A glorious site to camp here at Fisher Lake is Sleepy Bear Camp Grounds, and this is a popular place for folks from Traverse City. So many cool things to do at Fisher Lake, so little time. Prospect Hill can be seen from Fisher Lake, and why not camp at Lime Lake Campground if       you're here at Fisher Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and as expected Crystal River flows through this neighborhood. Summer at Fisher Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Fisher                  Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Homestead is a very popular ski area around here, and dry warm beds await you at Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa. For you golfers we recommend close by Dunes' Golf Club; Best Western Scenic Hill Resort is a perfect location to get some rest.
