Super 8 Howe is a wonderful place to get some rest, and Camel Lake is a glorious lake close by. Summertime highs at Fish Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Fish Lake tend to be in the 10's. If you came to camp Nottawa Park is a splendid place to do that, and there are other sites here than Fish Lake, for example

This lake is so wonderful. Fish Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Green Valley Campgrounds is a good local campground, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Sturgis. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. Fish Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; September is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February.

Can the general public access the lake or is it private for Greenspire residents?...Hampton lake is a public lake in Portage south of Centre street, about a 1/3 of a mile east of US 131. It does not have a public access, I'm not even sure gas powered boats are allowed, but they're not needed because the lake is not very big. But it is spring fed and DNR stocked so it is very clean and very good fishing. I live in Greenspire Apartments which is partially on the lake and my roommate and I fish Hampton lake often. Swiss Valley is a great place to ski or snowboard, dedicated to keeping the terrain interesting and excellently groomed. Snowmaking and deicated staff also provide the best kept terrain parks in southwest Michigan.
