For the duration of the summertime at Fire Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Fire Lake overnight low temperatures during the       wintertime are in the 0's. Fire Lake is a good location of typical rainfall; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fire Lake has to offer, you can camp at Silver Lake Resort, and there are some great whitewater spots on Peshekee River. This lake is so wonderful.
