This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. A glorious close by hotel is Comfort Inn Minocqua. It's a pleasant idea to have a look at Finn Creek, it's near Finn Pond; do take a hike on the Alligator Eye Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Ontonagon River offers some fine whitewater; a great place to camp here at Finn Pond is Bobcat Lake Campground. Lakes       are great; Jack Lake is a lake that's near Finn Pond, and why not camp at Moosehead Lake Campground while you're here at Finn Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the Gogebic Range. This spot, the Gogebic Range, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Float down the rapids of Presque Isle in a kayak, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Queen Lake. At Finn Pond all through the summertime highs                  are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Finn Pond temperatures sink to the-10's.
