If you came for an overnight stay Iron River Koa Kampground is a great place to camp; Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn is a delightful location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Lake Nine in close proximity to Lake Fifteen; the snow is great at Brule Mountain.       Get yourself into a kayak and hit Paint River. At Lake Fifteen through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Fifteen. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. If you come at the right time of year, Brule River offers some fine whitewater; if the weather is great, you can go                  for a hike along the Lauterman Trail. A tremendous close by hotel is Americinn - Iron River, Mi, and Iron County Pentoga Park is a delightful campground nearby.
