Fern Lake is a lake worth visiting. Stay the night at Cycle-Moore, and glide down the rapids of Boardman River in a kayak. For the period of the warm months at Fern Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; night lows at Fern Lake through the wintertime regularly fall into the 10's.
