Get drenched paddling on Pine River; great hiking is available along the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail. The amount of precipitation that falls at Ferguson Lake is close to the national average; during the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Traverse City Koa, and you can go       for a hike on the McKenzie Ski Trail. Paddling on Boardman River is so much fun, and Ferguson Lake is not far at all from Cadillac. Looking for some flowing water? Try Adams Creek, and if you need a place to stay Cadillac - Days Inn is a wonderful choice. Why not camp at Mesick Trailer Park since you're here at Ferguson Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Traverse City. Through the warmest time of the year here at Ferguson Lake, high temperatures                  usually get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Ferguson Lake drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. So many entertaining things to do here at Ferguson Lake, too pleasant to be true.
