Evans Lake is right by the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Evans Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Pinewood. This lake is so wonderful. Through the summertime at Evans Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's       for Evans Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Do pop by Lorden Lake right next door to Evans Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and after a long day outdoors Baymont Inn and Suites Muskegon is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. Evans Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail, and                  for you golfers we recommend close by Northwood Golf Course. The Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not a little side spree to Bowman Drain. Little Martin Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Muskegon-Norton Shores here. This lake is so wonderful.
