Very pretty scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Porcupine Mountain. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Erickson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Robbins Pond Campground. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Erickson Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Erickson       Lake. Erickson Lake is a good site of common rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Golf can be played at Perttu's Big Spruce Golf Course; don't leave Erickson Lake without first going for a hike along the North Country National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch, and                  since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Johnson Lake.
