Lakes are such calm sites, why not stop by Sporley Lake close to Engman Lake; Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Marquette, MI is a good spot to get some rest. If you come at the right time of year, Chocolay River offers some perfect whitewater; at Engman Lake you always meet someone       from Marquette. This lake is so wonderful. There are other locations here than Engman Lake, for example Silver Lake. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Engman Lake is peerless! Playing golf is lots of fun at Red Fox Run Golf Course; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Escanaba River - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn - Marquette, and City Of                  Marquette is a splendid campground nearby. It's always great to stop at Froling Falls, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Marquette since you're here. Engman Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. During the warm months at Engman Lake highs are typically in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
