If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge & Suites is a tremendous choice, and a good place to camp here at Emmons Lake is Indian Valley Campground. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Emmons Lake. A day on the slopes of Cannonsburg is just what you need, and if you're visiting from Grand Rapids-Wyoming, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Bittersweet is in the neighborhood of Emmons
Lake; while you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Broadmoor Country Club. SpringHill Suites Grand Rapids Airport Southeast is a great spot to get some rest; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Duncan Lake.
Emmons Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; September is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least moisture. Through the summer at Emmons Lake temperatures are regularly

in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. During the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Emmons Lake are in the 10's. Lakes? Sure, Krafts Lake is nearby, and why not camp at Engelwood Campground since you're here at Emmons Lake.

At one time I believe Freska Lake was owned by my Grandmother's family. Her maiden name was Lapinski. Bittersweet
21 miles away
Bittersweet has enormous snow-making capacity and is consistently the first to open in SW Michigan. Their vertical is only 350 ft, but that's about 100 more than any other resort in SW Michigan. As noted, their lift system is impressive, particularly the high speed detachable quad, but lines can get a little long on late December weekends. Their terrain park has a good variety of boxes, jumps, etc. Very friendly people....Yea you guys rock i love the snow...Ahh yes, Bittersweet Ski Area... Michigan skiing at it's very best. The drops in these part of the country are not that impressive but I think Bittersweet makes the most of it. I do recommend this ski area....
