From a rain point of view Elbow Lake is a pretty normal spot; the month with most of the rain is August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There is a good hiking trail next to Elbow Lake called the Lame Duck Truck Trail, and a pleasant spot to camp here at Elbow Lake is River View Campground & Canoe Livery. Not far from Elbow Lake, you'll locate Turtle Lake which is a pretty lake, and if you need a site to stay Quality       Inn West Branch is a fine choice. And if you're still looking for more outdoors enjoyable things just keep reading. Elbow Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Troll Landing Campground is a great local campground; going for a hike on the East Fireline Trail is always a glorious adventure. Lakes?
