If you are in Gogebic county it's always a good idea to stop by Elbow Lake. Big Powderhorn Mountain is a very popular ski area around here, and Henry Lake Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. Elbow Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be.

| | You're probably keen on lakes, Thrush Lake is one of those nearby, and Elbow Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Presque Isle Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby.

This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Indianhead close at hand,
and if you come at the right time of year, Presque Isle offers some wonderful whitewater. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Elbow Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the winter
highs are in the 10's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Elbow Lake fall into the-10's. Elbow Lake is located in the Gogebic Range.
