While you're here at Elbow Lake you can take a hike along the Alligator Eye Trail; you can run the rapids of Presque Isle. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Gogebic Range, too magnificent to be true. Lakes are tremendous; Henry Lake is a lake that's right next door to Elbow Lake, and Planter Creek is a delightful whitewater spot close by. You're in all probability keen       on lakes, Redboat Lake is one of those close by; why not camp at Presque Isle Campground since you're here at Elbow Lake. A great place to camp here at Elbow Lake is Henry Lake Campground; pretty scenery and fine skiing is what you acquire at Big Powderhorn Mountain.
