Egg Lake really is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. You'll find a beautiful lake called Diamond Lake near Egg Lake, and lakes are such serene places, why not go to Loda Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn BIG RAPIDS       is a brilliant choice, and you can go for a hike on the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail. Stay the night at White River Roughing Area Campground, and don't leave Egg Lake without first going for a hike along the Honeymoon Lake Snowmobile Trail. Through the long summer days here at Egg Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in                  the wintertime at Egg Lake temperatures sink to the 10's.
