What a site this is for outdoors people. Why not camp at Presque Isle Campground if you're here at Eel Lake, and you can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Indianhead. The amount of precipitation that falls at Eel Lake       is close to the national average; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is typically the driest month. Presque Isle is a pleasant whitewater spot in close proximity to Eel Lake, and there are tremendous sites to discover along the Alligator Eye Trail. Nearby lakes?
