This lake is so wonderful. The Cedar Creek Cycle Trail is a fine hiking trail next to Echo Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Muskegon. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Echo Lake rules! Nearby lakes? Sure, Schaffer Lake is near Echo Lake. You'll need       more than a day to explore everything Echo Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Pinewood. At Echo Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Echo Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Echo Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; during the month of August you get the most                  rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Going for a hike on the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
