At Echo Lake you always meet someone from Muskegon-Norton Shores, and Echo Lake is not the only site close by, Baker Lake is a close by lake. All through the summer months at Echo Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Echo Lake. This       lake is so wonderful. Echo Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Wolf Lake Apartments and Resort is a wonderful local campground, and if you need a site to stay Baymont Inn and Suites Muskegon is a good choice. Echo Lake is a good spot of typical rain; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is frequently the driest month. The Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail offers hiking at its best; dry warm beds await                  you at Comfort Inn Muskegon. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Looking for something close to Echo Lake? Schaffer Lake is nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Echo Lake; Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail is a great local trail. Brooks Creek is in the vicinity of Echo Lake and is always a bliss to take a look at. There's so much to do here at Echo Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Pinewood is a nice spot for that.
