     This is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Knave Lake is a lake close at hand; Perch River is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. The skiing at Brule Mountain is delightful. Lakes are good; Muskrat Lake is a lake that's close to Ebony Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Perch Lake Campground is a nice campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Iron River, Mi. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to  
   do here at Ebony Lake. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn is a glorious choice; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Brule is reasonably near.
Summer at Ebony Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Ebony Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. The Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails offers
 
               hiking at its best, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sturgeon River. The amount of precipitation that falls at Ebony Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is August while February is frequently the driest month.
Lake Ste. Kathryn Campground is a magnificent local campground, and a quick trip to Knave Creek is undeniably a good idea. This lake is so wonderful.
