Eaves Lake is not the only site close by, Fry Lake is a close by lake, and there's great hiking along the Hungerford Cross Country Ski Trail. At Eaves Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The       wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Eaves Lake. Good hiking is available along the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail, and camping is available at Leisure Time RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Big Rapids MI, naturally you could also go to Crofoot Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Eaves Lake.                  If you like swamps, you're in luck, Biddleman Marsh is right close by.
