It's always fun to stop by East Lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Norway Mountain. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. Shakey Lakes Park is a fine local campground, and enjoy a round of golf at Indian Hills Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Menominee River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by; Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a great location to get some rest.

If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pike River, and Buck Hill is pretty and can be seen from here. The annual rain here at East Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily September, that's the one that rains the most; February meanwhile is the driest month.
