East Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Kewadin Shores Casino Hotel is a wonderful place to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Dick Campground is a tremendous spot to camp. A lake nearby is Trout Brook Pond; tremendous hiking is available along the Mackinac Trail. There are great spots to discover along the North Country Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Kewadin Casino Lakefront Inn.

| | without first going for a hike along the Horseshoe Bay Trail; camping is available at Pine River Primitive Campground. All through the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 70's at East Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
