East Lake is a good location of normal precipitation; through September this area sees the most rain while February is usually the driest month. A perfect       nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Lakeshore, and why not camp at Fox River Campground since you're here at East Lake. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at East Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's.
