Camping is available at Brimley State Park, and Garkinghouse Lake is a tremendous lake nearby. Eagle Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; September is the month that gets the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There are nice spots to explore along the Mackinac Trail, and you're sure to run into some cheerful people from Sault Ste. Marie here.       Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Eagle Lake is excellent! If you need a place to stay Best Western Sault Ste. Marie is a good choice, and don't leave Eagle Lake without first going for a hike along the North Country Trail. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Sault Ste. Marie is a good location to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Chippewa Landing is a great place to camp. During the warmest time of the year at Eagle Lake                  highs are ordinarily in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Eagle Lake tend to be in the 0's.
