What a nice lake Dumbbell Lake is. Black Bear Lodge is a great location to get some rest, and if you came to camp Bass Campground is a delightful place to do that. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Presque Isle; nearby you stumble on Meadowwoods Point. This lake is so wonderful. Dumbbell Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while February is regularly the driest month. Be careful coming to Dumbbell Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. There's so much to do here at Dumbbell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Langford Lake Campground and Picnic Area is a fine spot for that; a great location for whitewater paddling is Ontonagon River.
