After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two; if you've had enough of Dude Lake, Becks Lake is close by. If you came to camp Lookout Tower Campground is a great site to do that, and Comfort Inn Newberry is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Dude Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Big Lake Campground is a great place for that, and you're possibly

| | into lakes, Benny Lake is one of those close by. Dude Lake is a good spot of normal rain; September is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is February. At Dude Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and the night is a little cooler of course, typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows at Dude Lake during the winter commonly dip into the 10's. | |
