From a rain point of view Duck Lake is a relatively typical place; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Duck Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Shakey Lakes Park is a perfect local campground, and Johnson Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Duck       Lake. Some of the water nearby flows, like Little Shakey Creek; there are plenty of folks from Marinette here. This lake is so wonderful. Norway Mountain is a wonderful local ski area; for you golfers we recommend nearby Indian Hills Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI; get wet paddling on Menominee River. Camping at Stephenson Motel is always a delightful experience, and                  if you're here, you could also stop by wonderful Lake Mary. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Duck Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Duck Lake.
