The snow is delightful at Homestead, and if you're here you should visit Carp River Point. For the duration of the months of summer here at Duck Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, typically in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Duck Lake. Lots of people from Traverse City come       to Duck Lake; a good close by hotel is Great Wolf Lodge Traverse City. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Tamarack Lodge is a great place to get some rest; Boardman River is a good whitewater spot nearby. Lake Leelanau RV Park is a fine campground nearby. Leeland Country Club is a brilliant golf course close by, and don't miss out on a tour to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore if you're here. Stay the night at Leelanau                  Pines, and don't forget to take a wonderful little visit to Leland River.
