Get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Boardman River; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Leeland Country Club is in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is recommended. Don't forget to visit Carp River Point if you're here at Duck Lake; if you need a location to stay Great Wolf Lodge Traverse City is a great choice. A common amount       of rainfall falls here at Duck Lake; the month with most of the rain is September while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Leland River from Duck Lake is uncomplicated; camping at Lake Leelanau RV Park is always a great experience. Nearby lakes? Sure, Provemont Pond is near Duck Lake, and camping is available at Leelanau Pines. Summertime at Duck Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's.                  Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Duck Lake. The snow is good at Homestead; if you're dropping by from Traverse City, you won't be the only one. Be careful coming to Duck Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again.
