There's so much to do here at Drone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Borderline RV Park and Campground is a great location for that, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is Ontonagon River. You can run the rapids of Ontonagon River - Middle Branch right       next door to Drone Lake; of course, this is a brilliant area for folks who like lakes, Davis Lake is a lake close at hand. At Drone Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's while Drone Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Drone Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; the month of August is the wettest with most                  of the rain; the driest month of the year is February. After a long day outdoors Wild Eagle Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two, and don't leave Drone Lake without first going for a hike along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail.
