After a long day outdoors Treetops Resort is a great spot to spend a night or two; Elkwood Campground is a perfect campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Best Western River Terrace, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Grass Lake is right close by. Summertime highs at Dorsy       Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Dorsy Lake plunge into the 0's. While you're here at Dorsy Lake, you could also stop at pretty McLavey Lake, and Marsh Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
