From a rain point of view Dorothy Lake is a relatively normal place; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February. Not far from Dorothy Lake, you'll hit upon Elsie Lake which is a beautiful lake,       and dry warm beds await you at Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River. Take a hike on the Alligator Eye Trail; if you need a spot to stay Best Western Derby Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a tremendous nearby course is Gateway Golf Club, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Ontonagon River. Summertime at Dorothy Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the duration of the dark                  hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Dorothy Lake temperatures drop to the-10's. You absolutely have to adore Dorothy Lake. Dorothy Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Maple Campground is a perfect local campground. Lakes?
