This lake is so wonderful. You ought to pop by Eagle Point when you're here at Lake Dollar, and Lake Dollar is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Sno-Trac Village is a wonderful local campground. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lake Dollar is close to the national average; the month with most of the       rain is September, and February is the month with the least moisture. There's so much to do here at Lake Dollar that you need to camp here for a while, Sno-trac Camper Village is a pleasant site for that, naturally you could also pop by Sixth Spectacle Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
