A scenic lake like Atodd Lake in the vicinity of Dollar Lake is a fine location to stop at, and a splendid site to camp here at Dollar Lake is Big Star Trailer and RV Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Honeymoon Lake Snowmobile Trail is always a brilliant       adventure, and why not camp at Putman Lake Camping while you're here at Dollar Lake. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Dollar Lake highs are generally in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Dollar Lake tend to be in the 10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Do visit Bass Lake near                  Dollar Lake, it's a scenic lake; there are good sites to explore along the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail.
