Many people like to go to Dollar Lake. From a precipitation point of view Dollar Lake is a rather normal spot; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Treetops Resort is a brilliant site to get some rest, and if you came to camp Elkwood Campground is a great place to do that.

| | in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Dollar Lake. Float down the rapids of Ocqueoc River in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Dollar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Acres Campground is a pleasant spot for that. Dollar Lake is not the only place nearby, Silver Lake is a nearby lake, and why not a little side journey to East Branch Black River.
