Tepee Lake Campground and Picnic Area is a great local campground, and getting to Jake Creek from Doe Lake is easy. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Doe Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Brule Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Ontonagon River - Middle Branch in a kayak; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can
always have a look at nearby Cottenham Lake.
High temperatures at Doe Lake all through the summer months are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Doe Lake. Lakes? Sure, Buckeye Lake is close at hand, and why not camp at Sparrow Rapids Campground since you're here at Doe Lake.
