At Dockery Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and the night is fairly colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Dockery Lake. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Dockery Lake. After a long day outdoors Best Western Splash Park Inn is a tremendous       location to spend a night or two, and swamps like Rathburn Lake close to Dockery Lake make for great locations to stop by. The Indian Trail is a great hiking trail right next door to Dockery Lake, and a perfect close by hotel is Ramada Inn & Convention Center Ludington Mi. Going for a hike on the North Country National Scenic Trail is always a great adventure. There's so much to do here at Dockery Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Whiskey Creek                  is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. There is a delightful hiking trail close to Dockery Lake called the Woods Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dockery Lake has to offer, you can camp at Scottville Riverside Park.
