After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WATERFORD       is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and Pine Nob has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. A good nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Waterford, and do have a look at Hogback Lake, it's a pretty lake. Through the warm months at Dixie Lake highs are regularly in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Dixie Lake tend to be in the 10's. The                  great folks of Flint like to hang out close by, and why not camp at Groveland Oaks County Park if you're here at Dixie Lake.
