This lake is so wonderful. There is a fine hiking trail near Dinner Lake called the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail, and don't forget to take a brilliant little visit to Deer Creek. The amount of rainfall that falls at Dinner Lake is close to the national average; during       September this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest. You could also check out Sprinkler Lake since you're here at Dinner Lake; it's close by, and why not camp at Wide Water Campground if you're here at Dinner Lake. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Dinner Lake. A glorious close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn - Wetmore, and nearby you come across the Haywire Grade ORV Trail which is                  a wonderful hiking trail.
