Try Alder Creek. Throughout the summertime, highs regularly are in the 80's at Diamond Lake. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows at Diamond Lake during the wintertime usually plunge into the 10's. There's so much to do here at Diamond Lake that you need to camp here for a while,       Moon Lake Campground is a glorious place for that, and Pine Hills Golf Course is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Blood Lake in the neighborhood of Diamond Lake, it's a wonderful lake; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Red Cedar River. This spot is great, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do near Diamond Lake. Diamond Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Lansing Cottonwood Campground is a wonderful                  local campground; Diamond Lake is not far at all from Owosso. Diamond Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
