Scaup Lake is a lake in close proximity, and Super 8 West Branch is a great location to get some rest. Gamble Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn West Branch is a delightful location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Devoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lost Valley Campgrounds       is a splendid place for that. Lakes are good; Lodge Lake is a lake that's near Devoe Lake. During the warm days of summer here at Devoe Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's while Devoe Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. That right there is lots already, but it continues; Devoe Lake has it all. While                  you're here at Devoe Lake you can play some golf at Greenbriar Golf Course, and going for a hike along the Sterling Truck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
