     The beauty of Devils Lake attracts many people from all around. Alpena Golf Club is a glorious golf course close by, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Of Alpena is a pleasant choice. Thunder Bay RV Park and Campground is a delightful local campground, naturally you could also visit Lake Besser if you're here; it's not far at all. There's tremendous hiking along the Norway Ridge Trail.

   structures, you can visit McConnell Dam, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Alpena,Mi is a great place to spend a night or two. Campers Cove RV and Campground is a good campground nearby, and Devils Lake is not the only place close by, Middle Lake is a close by lake. So much exciting stuff to do here at Devils Lake, too pleasant to be true. Good hiking is available along the Devils Lake Trail, and lots of people from Alpena come here.

               of the summer at Devils Lake highs are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Devils Lake descend into the 0's. The yearly rain here at Devils Lake is about average; most of the rain falls during August while February is regularly the driest month.

stopped off here in june or july '06 on our way to the u.p. but just wanted to say it was beautiful here from the animals, to thunder bay I went and canoed it 'bout midnight to 2 in the morn. with my travel party. the bay itself was fantastic shallow as can be. every one there was friendly. going back in spring of '07 with the rest of my family...Love to camp at Ossineke! Definitely rustic. Count on usually friendly neighbors (including the squirrels and chipmunks). Beautiful area!...
